Kläppen, Sweden

Kläppen Ski Resort is a private resort in the larger and more well-known “Sälen” area. The ski system is built around a mountain with slopes in all directions. Nestled in the forest, which protects it against wind and makes the snow remain longer on the pistes. Though Kläppen being a smaller resort it still offers varied skiing for both beginners and intermediates. You will even find several trails lit in the evening so you can make the most of your ski pass and there are three snowparks which have been voted “Best in Sweden”. Especially for families with smaller children, this is a great place as all trails ends at the same place which makes it very safe for the children to go out on their own adventures.

Very small – but okay for families or beginners.

I was here with my school on a camp for 3 days and I liked it a lot. It is a little place but for 3 days it is good and lots of snow and nice trails.
