Val d’Isère, France


The resort is spread along a high, remote valley and shares the giant Espace Killy ski area with neighbouring Tignes. Val d’Isère divides into a number of sectors, from the central hub at the base of the main Solaise and Bellevarde lifts to the quieter outposts of La Daille, Le Laisinant and Le Fornet.

    Great place – have been here twice, once in Tignes and last time in Val d’isere which is what I like most. The trails seems longer, maybe it is because Val d’isere is lower so you feel the distance between top and bottom are longer? Anyway – well connected area, great snow, great place overall.
